Benefits of MAT for Opioid Addiction
Opioid use disorder affects the brain’s reward system, making it extremely difficult to stop using without medical support. MAT uses medications that reduce withdrawal symptoms and block cravings, allowing individuals to engage in therapy, stabilize their lives, and begin true recovery.
What You Can Expect:
- Relief from opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms
- Reduced risk of overdose
- Improved emotional and physical stability
- Greater engagement in therapy and support programs
- Higher rates of treatment retention and long-term sobriety
- Ability to maintain work, school, and family obligations
- Safe, supportive recovery at home, not in a hospital or facility
CMAR’s opioid MAT program is especially beneficial for those who’ve experienced multiple relapses, use high-potency opioids like fentanyl, or are seeking an alternative to inpatient detox.

Your healing journey and new life starts now
Nothing would stand in my way of a drink. My actions revolved around minimizing consequences to decisions that would reap the best benefit of this disorder. This disease manipulates you and as a result, you manipulate everyone around you just to fulfill a falsely created ritual.
After spending another round in rehab, I started an intensive outpatient program at CMAR. I recently graduated and started in their regular outpatient program. I get to see a certified counselor every week in addition to fixed flexible courses. This place saved my life. I don't take that lightly and I'm not exercising my freedom of speech just to say it. I mean it, CMAR's professional staff and programs saved my life.
I just hit the 7 month mark of my sobriety. I'm happy, in every sense of the word, in a way that I haven't been in many years. For anyone out there struggling, please recognize, I know exactly what you're going through. I'm not unique in any way. I just decided that my life is worth living without substances.
I believe that taking your first step to accepting this truth is going to be the hardest. Please consider allowing CMAR to help you ground this decision. It's the most important choice you'll ever make. The road to recovery is not an easy one. The greatest part of all the difficulty is that we're not alone. CMAR develops serious relationships with others through intense attributable work.
Since this is working for me, I have no doubt in my heart that it will work for you. Please take action because it's already too late. For a lot of people, they never got to this realization. I hope to see you soon in one of the classes.
Peace and grace be with you,
Jeremiah White
